Woe

This applies to every single country in the World, but I chose to single out America, because it seems to be the "police" of the world and the most powerful nation and the place where I reside.

I don't know, but I have of late been having very bitter feelings to America and this world.

I think one aspect that gets me is MY WAY. MY WANTS. MY NEEDS. granted, this shows up a lot in schools, and i think it's absolutely ridiculous! back in the old days, teachers were respected, but now teachers are mere puppets of the parents' wishes and everything caters to the students. Where has honor and respect gone?

Uh, apparently up the arses of those who established this country and set up the laws. NOTE: not the ones who founded this country. They came for a good reason. The ones who set up the country didn't.

What is freedom? The ability to do whatever you want and whenever? Wow. No wonder Paul talks about being slaves to righteousness. He understood that you're either a slave to your own sinful body or a slave to righteousness. With that being said, let's get one thing straight here. There is no such thing as FREEDOM as you think it.


But more than anything, America has TURNED AWAY FROM GOD

God have Mercy on America...I think of the prophecies in the Old Testament against all those nations in Isaiah. I'm like...dang

...America sounds just like one of em.

counting friends and counting down

i was on facebook tonight and browsing...

i realized that when i check other people's pages out, i looked at how frequent their walls were posted on...and how many friends they had. haha

and then i look at mutual friends...and then i'm like...wow. i haven't talked to some of them in like years.

and then i wonder why i am facebook friends with them (not in a bad way)...

and then i thought about how facebook can and probably does determine some people's worth and value.

and then it made me cringe..


and on a side note..

counting down 1 week til I report for Student Teaching!
