hardly feels like it..
my hibernation from blogging has been filled with being out and about with school internship, grad school work, church, getting engaged, wedding planning, and eating. I actually have not played PS3 for about 3 weeks now. It's pretty amazing...
I've found that it is better to be busy than to be bored with nothing to do. The weekends are just enough rest and escape from work and school, that I'm managing it alright.
School Internship, which takes up most of my time has been a joy and a blessing! I absolutely love teaching at my middle school. Got an awesome mentor teacher, and though it's busy and taxing on my voice, I find it worthwhile. We'll see how the high school internship goes, but I would love to teach in the middle school.
Grad school work, is just busywork and it makes me feel like I'm wasting my time. After 8 hours at school, going to class for another 4 hours does not bode too well. At least I'm finishing this master's in 1 year, so I should stop complaining.
Church has been refreshing and great! Bible study on Wednesdays has been encouraging and disciplining. Even though it means that I only have one free night (Monday), I've stopped complaining about all my time being gone. Also, being a youth group teacher has been great. I like my SRB group, and i'm looking forward to growing with them.
Also, I'm now engaged to my college sweetheart...it sounds really weird saying that...but it's true. haha. I'm really thankful and now that I'm engaged, I feel even more humbled and unworthy of it. I'm starting to get nervous too, but I'm also really excited.
With all this said, life is busy, and I'm enjoying it.
BTW, i realize i sound like such an old man...even with my writing style.......this sucks.
